Gentle Close was made for the weeks when you start wearing your coat again — when the light turns golden and sideways, and the garden begins its patient retreat. This is not a melancholy collection. It finds warmth in the muting, beauty in the fade.
The palette is dusty, dried-flower soft: rose that has faded but not lost its shape, sage that has yellowed at the edges, rust that has settled from orange to something earthier. These are the colours of comfort, of things well-loved and slightly weathered.
